The Sentinel Tag+ is an extended-duration BLE tracking label engineered for long-term, low-profile, and covert proximity monitoring. Building on the ultra-thin design of the original Sentinel Tag, the Tag+ incorporates a high-capacity 12-month battery and a push-button on/off control, allowing operators to activate the device only when required. This enables controlled deployment timing, battery preservation during storage, and the ability to reuse the Tag+ across multiple operational cycles. 
 
Despite its thin, lightweight construction, the Tag+ provides reliable BLE proximity intelligence through the global BLE crowdsourced detection method, enabling last-seen visibility and movement insights without GPS, SIM cards, or cellular connectivity. The covert profile allows the Tag+ to be embedded inside parcels, documents, folders, retail items, evidence bags, or sensitive assets where traditional tracking hardware would be impractical. 
 
Platform access is included for the first 12 months, regardless of how frequently the on/off switch is used. During this period, the Sentinel Platform provides proactive monitoring including geofence alerts, movement notifications, BLE detection mapping, event logs, and device-health visibility. Unlike Apple “Find My” or Google “Find My Device,” which provide reactive last-known location information, the Sentinel Platform delivers real-time operational oversight. 
 
After the original 12-month platform access ends, users can maintain uninterrupted platform access by subscribing to a monthly plan charged at R10 per month, enabling continued digital oversight.
